AUO claims up to 50% reduction in power consumption with new 32 inch LCD panel (Digi Times)

AU Optronics (AUO) stated that it started mass production of a 32-inch power-saving LCD panel in the second quarter this year; with the panel saving up to 50% in power consumption compared to traditional LCD TV panels of the same size.
